Compared to cotton, lyocell requires less water, land, and chemicals for production.
To maximize the garment's lifespan and minimize environmental impact, CDLP recommends machine washing with eco-labelled detergent at a cooler temperature. Hand drying is suggested over tumble drying to reduce energy usage, fibre loss, and to eliminate wrinkles and creases.
